Boosting Applications Based on Linked Data
The ultimate goal of the LDF.fi service is to foster application development by sharing data for re-use is a form that makes application development easier. The focus is on using the Linked Data approach. Application development is supported in several ways, including:
- Linked Data Publishing (Server Side). Data is not only opened and shared as datasets: the data is provided also as operational services via APIs, especially as SPARQL endpoints.
- Application Development (Client Side). We work on client side tools such as Semantic Mash-up Widgets by which SPARQL and other services can be easily incorporated into HTML-based web applications.
- Data Production. Various online tool, such as ontology services, language technology tools, and annotation services, are provided to booster application development from a data production perspective. See the Data Curation pages for more details.
